Stealthy Solace

“Quiet Escapes in you own Space”

Navigating personal space as a parent is like trying to find a quiet corner in a room full of puppies – nearly impossible, but oh so rewarding. As a mom, I’ve mastered the art of snuggling on demand while sneakily setting those much-needed boundaries. It’s a delicate dance of love, hugs, and the occasional escape to the bathroom to enjoy 30 seconds of blissful solitude.

When your little (or big) one’s concept of personal space is essentially non-existent, you learn to embrace the chaos with open arms. Yes, there will be moments when you long for a bubble of solitude larger than the entire universe, but then those sticky fingers wrap around your neck in a tight hug, and suddenly, all is right in the world. So here’s to snuggles, boundaries, and the messy, beautiful madness of parenthood. We’ll get through it with love, laughter, and maybe just a touch of strategic hiding spots. Like the bathtub, the hammock in your backyard retreat, your vehicle (or my office as i call it lol) or my ultimate ninja move – their own beds. They never look there for you, and it’s a cozy hideout amidst the chaos of family life. So, go ahead, find your hiding spot, sanctuary to recharge, and then jump back into the joyful mayhem with a smile on your face and love in your heart.

Remember, hiding spots are like fine wine – they get better with age and experience. Experiment with different locations until you find your perfect little oasis of tranquility in the midst of parenting pandemonium.

Shhhhhhhhhh – Sheryl xoxo
